How to choose a POS for your bar or restaurant
A practical checklist for choosing terminals, software, peripherals and support without buying more than you need.
Start with your workflow
List where orders and payments happen: counter, dining room, terrace and delivery. Count how many people work at the same time. More tables do not always mean more payment stations.
Test a complete transaction
Ask for a demonstration with your menu: open a table, add a modification, send it to the kitchen, split the bill and close the shift. Also check how mistakes are corrected and which permissions staff will have.
Check connections before buying
List printers, cash drawers, kitchen displays and payment terminals. Compatibility depends on the model, software version and licensed modules. Confirm in writing which connections are included and which need additional setup.
Compare the total cost
A useful quote separates hardware, licences, installation, product migration, training and support. Ask about recurring fees, renewals, backups and recovery after a fault. Prices on this website are confirmed in an individual proposal.
